Clear shove in the back. If it were a “smaller club” than Liverpool would they be getting that decision? Doubt it.

Basically it wasn't clearly and obviously a DOGSO because Barcola didn't have the ball under control. But it should have been given as a foul initially and at least a yellow. Had it been given as a red on the pitch, no way would it be overturned.

But that's been the story of Liverpool's season. Every marginal refereeing decision has gone their way.

I don’t think any of the forward line could be blamed. In the rare instances they have received the ball, it’s been mostly collecting a long ball clearance with no support anywhere near them due to everyone being on the other side of the centre line. They’re being outclassed. Plain and simple.

Damn Harry Kane!

Both Kane and Xhaka should have seen a yellow later in the half, first Xhaka kicking Kane's ankle and the Kane retaliating with a similar kick. Probably Mukiele and Laimer deserved their yellows for the following melee too.

I hope Leverkusen introduces a proper forward at some stage, Schick and Boniface both sitting on the bench seems odd, not impressed with Leverkusen attacking players in the 1st half.
