Prospect Info: Champions Hockey League

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Good news, Eriksson is in the line-up for Vaxjo. He's listed at 4C:

The Sabres also loaned Noah Ostlund to Vaxjo, so he's also in the line-up.

They play @ 11:30AM ET vs. Pelicans.

Eriksson again on the 4th line today, so good news that he's dressed in all the games so far. After today they are off for a month so will be interesting to see if he can continue to get games when the SHL season starts next week.

His team is one of the top teams so far as they have a 3-0 lead so far today and haven't lost a game yet.

Eriksson with an assist as Vaxjo is up 1-0 after 1. His 2nd point (and assist) on the season. Today is his 9th game of the season.

Interesting part is it was a PP goal. So he's at least getting some PP time, even if it might be a rare thing.

If you include his 2 goals in 4 games in Champions League, he has 4 pts (2G, 2A) in a total of 13 games with the SHL club. Not bad for an 18 year old to have a spot on the SHL team, however limited.

I made this post in the Prospects Thread, but I never realized today's game was Champions League and not SHL. So he still remains with 1 assist in 8 SHL games. But he's now at 4 pts (3G, 1A) in 5 Champions League games.

Next season we will have 2 prospects there in Eriksson and Rohrer. If Engstrom went back to Sweden next season and his team wins the SHL championship which starts Friday, then we would have 3.
