Im guessing u want more then stats but he had a good year statistically scoring 13G and 30 pts as a freshman in 42 games pretty good for a 7th round pick in last years draft.
I dont know how that compares to other freshman but first rounder Jack Skille for example scored 21 pts in 1 fewer game for Wisconsin. Also of note he was the only freshman forward for Collorodo College to play more then 1 game.

I like Rau a lot. He PROBABLY won't be an NHLer, but I've been pulling for him for a while. He's got a ton of skill, but I really don't think his body can handle the riggors of the pro game when it gets time for that.
