Question about Sellgren: is he getting paid? I assume he's got everything he's getting out of his SHL team for the season. NHL entry-level deal kicks in next year. He's on a PTO, but players don't get paid in the playoffs. He got a $75,000 signing bonus but I'm not sure that's payable until July 1.

Ugh, Chicago gets a lucky deflected bouncy goal with 3:25 left in the first. We're looking good in small bursts, but mostly being pushed by Chicago so far. Definitely need to start taking advantage of the fact that the refs are in a "let them play" mood...seems everyone capitalizes on that but us lately

Blegh, down 2-1 after the first...but glad it's still close. That was not a very good period overall, very sloppy, being pressed by Chicago, lots of unforced turnover so far...hopefully this is one of those games we get better as we go

I noticed when looking at stats that Mattheos had almost identical number (for the same junior team) to Ferland in a couple seasons. Tonight he is playing a bit like him as well.
