Make that one point each in 4 games now.....As far as I understand Farabee and Frost both have 1 goal in 3 2/3 games for Calgary, and the Flames are loosing their 3rd out of 4 games...
Farabee has looked good so far.
4 games each is far too small of a sample size, and they hadn't even had a practice with the team until they'd played 3 games. Both players have had scoring chances and have created scoring chances (Farabee also had a goal called back). Considering the circumstances and the heavy sked when they were acquired, there is no complaints from Flames fans about these players. Not gonna judge both players on wins-losses but 2 pts in 8 games cant be viewed as good start. Bar is low so far for Kuzmenko and Pelletier.
Not so much into advanced stats but recent hockeystats cards were not good like at all, especially last one.
They were in fine form when traded and used to bad schedule. Except for TK, Tortorella basically runs 3 lines 14-16 mins and 4th getting 12.4 games each is far too small of a sample size, and they hadn't even had a practice with the team until they'd played 3 games. Philly has no idea what a tough schedule is like, over the course of a season the Flames travel ~10k more miles than Philly. Frost and Farabee had to played 3 game sin 4 nights, not just in different cities, but different time zones. And they are still in "fine form", but you need time to learn your linemates and their tendencies. They were in fine form when traded and used to bad schedule. Guys coming in have been idle for too long at this point and they will need time to get back to speed which is perfectly fine.
