Definitely partly on the QB. Nichols lack of arm strength certainly made the offense too predictable and allowed opposing defenses to cheat

I would trade for O'Connor, if I were Ottawa, the kid is being wasted in Calgary. 6'5 230lbs, strong arm, accurate and can read a 12 man defense. Plus he's from the Ottawa area.

This seems like a bit of a no lose situation as long as the price isn't too high.

The storyline alone would spark some interest in a relatively uninspired season although hopefully he wouldn't be anointed a saviour with loads of pressure on him.

I mean he’s made it a lot further by NFL standards than most CFL QBs have… he might suck compared to Big Ben but that’s a whole other ballgame than the CFL

Absolutely brutal game. Brought my friend to his first game and he was asking where all the atmosphere was. I told him it helps when they score occasionally. Thank god for Dedmon otherwise there wouldn’t have been a single bright moment.
