Happy New Year Gentlemen:

To all 9 regular posters, I hope that you and your families will enjoy the safest and best of times, not just this year but well into the future.

I also hope some ladies will join our discussion group. Who says the guys know more about football than they do?

Well, is this the year that the EE finally turn the ship around and make the playoffs? I'm optimistic that it will happen and that interest in the club will be reignited in Northern Alberta and across the country.

Its long past time that the Evil Empire returned.

Happy New Year Mooner!

How do you know some ladies might already be with us? Might be incognito.;)

And I agree with you that this year we will finally turn things around and be in the playoff hunt. Legitimately.

I want the other teams fans to start hating us again. No more feeling sorry or pity parties.

No problem Stoner, I thought you might be a lady:nod: but either way it doesn't matter. Let's encourage people to jump back on the EE bandwagon. Best wishes for the club and let's get super nasty with the rest of the league.

I forecast EE as 2nd in the west next year. Remember, Saskatchewan traded for Jake Meier!! Even I can’t say this with a straight face.

Happy New Years as well to all of you.

Watching the ASU v Texas game right now. Sarkisian wasn’t ever this smart as a Roughrider QB back in the day.

Go ASU!

Happy New Year Brent, all the best! Hopefully, it's the Evil Empire and the Riders in the West Final. Or maybe even the Grey Cup with the CFL's nutty crossover rules!

I remember the days when there no more than 4 assistants. I wonder if 8 are really required.

I am glad to see Jason Tucker back to coach the receivers.

Still a fraction of what they have down south. I’m just happy that we can once again have that many and be compliant.

It's also still less than what we used to have on CFL teams before the coaching cap. Ultimately this is a good thing. Allows for people to spend the right amount of time on their speciality instead of speading their time and talents around.

Brand roll out 1.0 should be used as an example in marketing schools about how not to introduce a branding change to a long term institution.

This was the obvious way to do it from the start. Too bad it took nearly burning the franchise to the ground combined with new ownership to do the obvious.

At least they didn't go with ESKS.
