Don't want TO to win but they deserve it more.
Really enjoyed the halftime this year as well. My little one was dancing along to all the songs. Cute to see!
Not a great game but Grey Cup Sunday is always fun. I would love it it someone new was there next year though. The EE would be nice!

No more Bombers please. They are becoming a choking hazard.

I know he got injured but Collaros is awful
Collaros choke is back. Man was he awful. At no point did he run the offense properly or get his head in the game. Even before the finger awful. You have all these weapons on offense and Collaros again spends all day self destructing.

Another side note but nobody should ever want Lucky on their team again. Shouldn't even have been in the game after his awful western Final. Lucky Whitehead turnover is what gave the Argos belief, and the lead, and it was over at that point. You could just see the confidence on Argos bench growing play by play. That really swung the game. How do you let Whitehead fumble punts and turn balls over two games in a row in the playoffs? Would have parked him for anybody else. Grade A idiot.

But Collaros managed to be worse than Arbuckle by miles. Nobody on offense really won this game. The Argos D did.

What happened to Collaros? I saw him leave the field with blood dripping from his hand but I missed what caused it.
Mike Tyson bit his finger off.

Whoops, wrong sport.

Holy shit, Randy bought a new suit. Wore the same one for 7 years and bought a new one when he’s out the door!
I'm a bit freaked out you know what Randy's suits for 7yrs even look like. I would never remember such a thing. My rule on suits is I got one. (actually two now that fit and one that is hopeful thinking...

See, Bombers lost, its why they play the games.

I suppose you could say Winnipeg………bombed the big game.

You have to live in Winnipeg, then you get this game, and you have to ride a long bus trip back to Winnipeg. Thats tough, you hate to see it.

I'm bemused actually. No more talk of a bombers dynasty. Choke dynasty at this point.

Happy for Ceresna 🍻
Me too.

He was a very good football player and contributor with the EE and is head and shoulders above anybody we have had since then at the defensive tackle position. Working with a much better organization improved his game further and he was the top tackler in the CFL this year.

And of course, on the other side, Castillo is light years ahead of the kickers the EE have had since he left. What an idiot move by Jones.

Argo D was the difference. Interesting that the corner, Franklin, had his toughest game of the season against Eugene Lewis during the last regular season match.

Lawler got shut down today by a Toronto backfield that is very good. I knew that Collaros would be in tough against them.

Grant is a game breaker on returns for the Argos. Every season we wonder why the Elkimos can't find somebody like this? I guess we'll wonder why in the 2025 season as well.

I'm not surprised Toronto won, I did give them the fighting chance that many didn't, but holy shit was that atrocious from Winnipeg. I want to say the Bombers had maybe five first downs the rest of the game prior to garbage time after they scored their TD late in the first quarter. Insane how little the league MOP saw of the ball after driving Winnipeg's offense the entire back half of the season. They tried to win it on Collaros' arm again, and it failed for the third time in a row. If that idiot on Hamilton hadn't given up that single in 2021, the Bombers would have joined the Buffalo Bills in infamy. And let's be honest they still could.

Credit to the Argos though, that defense was ferocious. McManis is an absolute baller, hope they gave him game MVP.

Despite everything that's been bad about the Esks/Elks since 2006 (including the overwhelmingly negative posts I just read here) I'm about to renew my EE season tickets for a 28th season mostly because of hope generated by the Chris Morris hiring. I guess that makes me not as savvy as the 2nd 3rd & 4th guessing, sarcastic, condescending, sick of the quirky CFL, change hating, staus quo hating, no longer residing near YEG, Rider loving, stuck in the past, ignorant of the present, serially pessimistic, pissed off for good reason, generally pissed off always bunch who post in this thread. See you at Commonwealth next year...er, I mean probably not.

P.S.: I'm looking forward to watching today's Grey Cup game just like I've done every year since I was in Gr. 2 and Russ Jackson & the Ottawa Rough Riders were the equivalent of Zach Collaros & the Winnipeg Blue Bombers today.
I will be there with you, been there since 1975.

Looked like his hand hit / got caught up in a helmet during a rush and he cut his finger …sounded like a deep cut.
Yes, Collaros got his finger cut on the helmet--not uncommon.

I am happy for Arbuckle. He had a very good season with the Stamps in 2019 (over 2,000 yards passing in a part time role) and was considered a sure fire starter and star when he left Calgary the following season.

I don't know what happened after that. He imploded and lost all confidence in his time with the Eskies ---but he was solid today and made the most of what he had.

Yup, he won the cup this evening but will have visions of Willie Jefferson in his sleep for a long time. Jefferson is amongst the greatest of all time D-linemen in CFL. A sure fire hall of famer.

Jeezus, only saw the last 1/2 or so, and what a poorly played game. Arbuckle is Arbuckle, and Collaros completed more passes to the Argos than his own teammates. Bombers window is closing, and hats off to the Argos defence. Bombers may have another 1 to 2 years left to compete with this group, but if the Argos win next year, you'd have to say THEY are the dynasty group with 3 titles in 4 years.
