I have to say, it worked out but Ryan Dinwiddie deciding to pass instead of just running 20 more seconds off the clock was pretty damn surprising. Not sure about that decision.

Fatty Arbuckle leading a team out of the tunnel for the Grey Cup next Sunday is comical, even by CFL standards. You can't even make this stuff up anymore.

Feeling badly for the Riders….any team facing the Bombers tonight was going to experience the feeling of walking into a jet engine.

Yeah. What a machine. I appreciate greatness. That Bombers club have had it all going on. Collaros 34-5 As a Bombers QB in home games. Thats some kind of domination. It doesn't get more one sided that that. Basically if you go to Winnipeg you're losing. Should be their year again. They've blown the GC a couple times, probably get this one. Riders didn't have a chance and really we've seen this kind of Harris game before. Far too vanilla to be even a challenge. 9 of the riders pts were FG's and in every instance they took over ball already in scoring position. Harris and the Riders offense basically generated 7pts on thier own. Terrible. Bombers dominated offensively, defensively and only the Bombers special teams were pretty bad.

What’s the line going to be? Winnipeg -20 now that Kelly is out? It’s too bad Fajardo was so awful today at least Montreal could have given the Bombers a game.

Toronto beat Winnipeg both times they played them this season with Winnipeg scoring a grand total of 25 points. Toronto's defence obliterated Winnipeg's offence in Winnipeg in week 19. Their defence could win this game on their own. The Argos only scored 30 points in those two games themselves so we could be in for a low scoring snooze fest.

The riders were brutal but that was not unexpected.

What the hell was the Saskatchewan defence doing? All game, Lawler seemed to be wide open. I mean Kenny is a stud player, but ya gotta bump him, grab him and make him work for those catches. He was wide f***ing open all day. The 7-11 of the CFL.

Gotta say it, Old fat Wade in Winnipeg has built an elite program there. All they seem to do is win and lead the league for the past few years.

Lawler is on a whole other level though. Big player speed and stride, great pattern runs, and hands that are probably beyond this league. The pure most talented receiver in the league. In the CFL when he's healthy he's unstoppable.

One thing I chuckled about is riders kicking a FG 3 scores down late in the game. Like thats gonna help.

I do think Toronto will need to be using both QB's. They will have to play mistake free ball and hope to get some mistakes out of the Bombers.

If this game was played in Winnipeg the Argos would have no chance. jmo. Being played in Vancouver could be difficult, but not impossible.

Perhaps an Irony but MBT would have a chance in this game. Would be a better option. Arbuckle is a strange one. Can be good as a reliever or intiially in games. he tends to unravel when something bad happens. Theres a likelihood facing the Bombers that something will. It'll be two Argos QB's we see.

Bombers have some issues on special teams. Seem to be taking a lot of time to kick ball and their blocking isn't great. That play by Lucky as well was just ugly. Its one thing to screw up the catch on a kick, it happens, but in that situation in game you have to fall down on the ball. Stop trying to pick it up like a clown, fall down on the ball and ensure you have it.

For sure I'll watch the game. Bombers and Argos for some reason are the opponents I dislike least in the league along with the Riders. Every other team I kind of despise.

It’s a given that PI will be called in the last minute of a CFL game. Might even be in the rules.

Pretty much. At least yesterday's was a rather obvious call. Montreal blew it with all those turnovers anyway, which wasn't too surprising. Teams that cruise along all year fail in November in this league as a rule of thumb. Winnipeg surviving four consecutive West Finals at home now is almost unbelievable.

Yeah it's tempting to see a Bombers team playing at peak efficiency going up against Arbuckle and assume blowout, because it probably ought to be, but that's seldom how these things go.

Winnipeg lost the last two Grey Cups due to careless turnovers by Collaros. If he repeats this again, the game is going to be close. It does look like Winnipeg finally learned their lesson with the high-risk gun slinging over the back half of the season though. Oliveira is now the feature piece in their offense and grinds teams down once Winnipeg gets a lead. I don't think Toronto is winning without a defensive score, we'll see if the Bombers prioritize ball protection more than in the last two Grey Cups.

Gotta say it, Old fat Wade in Winnipeg has built an elite program there. All they seem to do is win and lead the league for the past few years.

The Bombers are an absolute machine. So many weapons on offense and their defense is tenacious. It was eye popping to see Lawler abuse the Riders early and yet still exploit coverage gaps to continue to get behind the Riders secondary. Poor reads with the best player on the field yesterday abusing them. Add their power run game for a lethal balanced offense. Collaros able to channel all facets of their attack with steady, no turnover leadership.

A big step for the Riders to a. make the playoffs and b. win a playoff game. But yesterday released the gap between a sustaining elite program and its western (and league) rivals. Harris had a good season but I still don't see him as a guy that's going to lead a championship team. Should be an interesting off-season, as always, in Riderville.

Loved to see Macioccia and Maas lose. The team seemed a bit cocky and Fajardo got exposed. The game itself was so poorly played on both sides, I've seen better played high school games. Crappy QBing, dropped passes, fumbles galore, missed tackles, etc. Seeing Grant take that kick all the way made me think of what Leake could have brought to our return game if our idiot coaching staff would have put him as a kick returner, which is his strength.

As for the other game, Bombers proved they are still the class of the league, despite only winning one cup in the last 5 years, but I think they will add to that next weekend. Harris and the Riders are trash. Glad they got shown the door.

The only reason he left BC that time was due to management. Once they left he went back. He seems set on being there as long as he’s happy.

That said, I always encourage my kids and staff that I mentored to apply and go through the interview process whenever you are invited to that step . You can always say no of it really comes down to it. It’s good experience and allows you to help assess strengths and areas for further development.
