Yeah, I wasn't pointing fingers at Piette. I actually saw him move the ball forward and he usually has a good range for lateral passes.

It just felt like, at times, it was too many passes in the same space and it didn't create space or unlock the press Orlando was giving them.

On another note, Suarez and Busquets are washed.

Piette is actually good for possession believe it or not. He's great at getting the ball back and doesn't lose possession. He needs a more creative midfielder alongside him, but he did quite well yesterday.
He can't hold Wanyama's jockstrap, or at least not the 2022 Wanyama that was the glue to our whole structure.

Wanyama's last contract is probably Renard's biggest mistake. He really took a step down and he's too slow to play our game

pls come to CFM

I know and heard from somewhere that Renard played for the NT with guys like Hazard, Lukaku and Benteke, not sure about KdB but there's a connection for sure. He makes 20 Million Pounds, he'd need to take a serious paycut to come here. This has NYC written all over.

I didn't have the chance to watch the 1st game but I peeped some discussion about the backup RB/RWB and I pick Ray Gaddis to be that guy. Veteran, which is what we need, better 1v1 Defender than Ruan. He excelled last season for Cincinnati.

What good is fast if you can't hold the ball?

People love acting as if Wanyama is washed but forget that the reason he got dropped isn't because of his on-field performances. Everything started to go downhill last season when he was benched for petty reasons.

I would give him a try for a few games.

Could be a back and forth game.

Dallas has many new faces like Montreal and they play a similar style as CF Courtois.

Ferreira not playing, and it looks like Iankov didn't make the trip.

Dallas pitch/stands look a lot like Saputo.

The away kits look amazing BTW. Thinking of buying a Waterman kit.

Still a lot of work in progress, so I expect things will look a bit shaky at times. I'd be real happy with another 0-0 or a 1-1. I'm hoping to notice improvements in the execution.

Too easy guys

Look look look, just toying with a bunch of pee wees.
