My kid is multisport and loves hockey/skiing first and foremost, but he was big into soccer just like many of his friends. In more diverse areas around Montreal, it's all in on soccer. I know many of my friends children can play 4-5 hours straight outside and their neighborhoods soccer teams are better than their hockey teams. The growth of the sport is pretty impressive.
