What a game thus far. I didn't expect this Czech forward group to have so many dominant shifts in the O-zone against the US team. Need Kulich to get one or two! Also Galvas has been VERY impressive.

It was your typical junior hockey up and down kinda period with teams just trading attempt and not a lot of defensive structure.

I'll say it now.. win or lose.. this was great for us.

Our quarter is going to be like this and we've had some guys step up.

US need to score early and get us chasing.. then they can counter and open it up.

We need to keep it close for as long as humanly possible. And see if we can't sneak one in somewhere. We are due a greasy goal or a Kulich goal. Happy for a point shot to bounce in off a Czech players ass.lol

I legit think that is because they are pushing the modern hockey envelope and realize that those guys aren't the answer in modern hockey. They probably have a bunch and cut them all.

Eg. the Czechs are not pushing the envelope and we have 2 on our roster.lol Neither will be drafted but that are big and can stay at home.

Using NHL.. the ideal pair is something like Hughes and Hronek.

A decade ago it'd be a guy like Hughes with a guy like David Musil.

Becher is fun to watch... sneaky! Almost got one there. It's so nice to have guys like him on the third line in games like this.
