Scheifele is terrible defensively and plays with two wingers who are at least his level offensively.

I wouldn’t take him over 3 or 4 of the over the hill stars like Bergeron, Malkin, Kopitar, Tavares

Why are we knocking Scheifele for playing with 2 very good, not elite players? He had 13 more points than anyone on his team in a shortened season he's clearly the driver of that line/Offence.

Because most centers don’t get two elite wingers. It’s worth considering

I wouldn't consider them elite (especially current Wheeler). The guy who just got voted in (Aho) plays with Teravainen and Svechnikov didn't really see anyone have a problem with that. Most of the players on the list play with better/very good players. I wouldn't vote Scheifele because he's basically given up playing Defence. I just don't think knocking him for playing with great yet not elite wingers is a fair argument.
