How does Dubas go about shoring up our center depth?

If Kerfoot plays on the wing then we have to rely on Gaudette as a full time 4C (not ideal) and we're one injury away from scramble mode since we dont really have anyone on the Marlies who can be relied on to fill in if needed (Abruzzese/Douglas/Steeves?). If Kerfoot plays center we bump Gaudette down but create a hole on the wing with no obvious candidates that can play in the top 6 (Robertson?). Engvall may also be able to play C but again, not ideal and it creates a hole on the wing.

I think it's likely Dubas will add another center but our options are extremely limited due to cap space. We might need to pull Spezza out of retirement...

Gaudette is not a center at this point.

Need a 3rd line C so Kampf can play his perfectly suited role of 4th line C.

Outside of Stastny, I’m not sure there are any UFAs left that would fill comfortably fill that role. Victor Rask maybe?
