I've had this on my console table since Round 2. I bought it during the pandemic.

Anyone having confidence Celtics win is nuts if you follow the Bruins in game 7 (confidence of win usually sky high) and how bipolar the Celtics are

My advice is you take Miami and the points

I think they cover and win but hopefully they blow them out because I do nof want to see a single digit game with 4 minutes left

sometimes in the course of a playoff run it takes one break to go from being on the edge of elimination to becoming a banner winning run

last night is an example- if the refs set the clock at 2.5 or 2.8 seconds the basket doesn't count ..,they re-set to 3.0, the Celtics win and now believe they will win it all

i know game sevens are often a crap shot but it's hard to see Miami coming back from this

Charles saying all the pressure is on Boston at home now. I gotta believe that. Everyone in the world is expecting a Celtic win now.

Weird dynamic because usually the team blowing the 3-0 has all the pressure there.

I shared this on FB, but not here, I don’t think.

In March, I looked ahead to both the NBA and NHL finals schedule to see which possible dates a championship parade (or two) would likely be held in Boston.

We went to a few of them over the years and I thought it would be great to get a hotel room for the night before the parade (s) to avoid the hassle of getting in the day of.

So I reserved rooms (refundable) for three different nights in June…..ostensibly jinxing everything.

When the Celts went down 3-0 I cancelled all of the reservations.

Lol.

So, as with my amazing prediction that the Celts wouldn’t be able to win a close game 6 (and then winning the closest game possible) and this, may I suggest always betting the opposite of what I do.

😂

Bruins regular season best all time record parade is still happening, I believe.

Tagging @EverettMike to confirm date and time.

Been there. I had tickets to game 6 in 2008 and sold them after game 4. Bought them through stubhub and didn't think they'd lose game 5 and I'd be out the money

What a crazy and miracle-like ending. That was one hell of a play by White, not many would have crushed the net after Smart got his shot off AND on top of that just quickly touching the ball.

With that being said, I am disappointed that they so often lose close games they should have no business losing or needing miracle shots to save them. 3rd time in this series they have blown a late game lead.
Regardless of the refs calling one sided for Butler, they shouldn't have let it come to that.

Now it's game 7, pressure is on both teams. If you were to ask me, I'd say the Celtics go through, but they can not be fully trusted anymore.

The Celtics would get a LOT more second chances and buckets if they ALL had this mentality after every shot.
