I think Michkov was as deserving as any of the other three, but given that Lame Buston wasn't going to be outside the top three, I'm quite happy that Mack made it and Michkov didn't. Screw those Michkov trolls.

Michkov for calder and it's not even close. That turned out so well for them.

I don't think there is a chance of it happening, but if it did, not only would I never apologize for him getting the win, I would rub it in certain guys faces for the entirety of next year's Calder Trophy thread.

I don't think that's true, but even the Montreal folks will tell you that Celebrini is the more valuable player going forward. But it's not a best future award and Hutson had a great season in assists.

Some voters see it that way since they want to be right 10 years later saying they voted for the best player for the Calder.

There probably are some voters who will vote that way, but the majority are going to look at Hutson's statline and just vote that way.

Absolutely. Hutson is amazing too and could be a true superstar, but I think most would rightly take Macklin. I'm not sure who I think had a better season, but I think Hutson is a worthy winner. If Macklin weren't injured, it'd be a dead heat or maybe even a win for him.
