How's the dman that Sharks drafted ahead of Hutson? Calder next year or bust?
Quiet you. How's the dman that Sharks drafted ahead of Hutson? Calder next year or bust?
Secondary PP Assist Production Machine*****Should be Hutson winning it. He has been a production machine for the Habs down the stretch in important games (3 points already today) and you just can’t ignore the point totals he is putting up. Hats off to him for producing a historic rookie season, possibly top 5 points in history for a defenseman. Unfortunately for Celebrini, with Michkov heating up and taking the most goals away from him I have a hard time seeing voters pass on Hutson at this point.
I mean, he's still already the 19th best season by an 18 year old all time. He still has a chance to match Bedard's and MacKinnon's seasons. If you're disappointed in his season, your expectations were sky high.Sure feels like he stagnated. Long season but I honestly thought he's produce more tbh. But this team is like Uber cheeks so that doesn't help at all
The weight of having to carry a team that has continually offloaded what little talent they have for futures (which they had to do, don't get me wrong) is wearing on him. Teams can focus on his line and not worry too much about matching any other line.I mean, he's still already the 19th best season by an 18 year old all time. I kinda get it, with the way he started. But also the Crosby comparisons (the ability comparisons not the stylistic ones) were never going to age well.I mean, he's still already the 19th best season by an 18 year old all time. I mean Macklin has 8 points in those 9, dude is doing all we can realistically expect. He's not going to go over 1 ppg by himself.Neither of those are really the bragging rights you think they are considering we’ve scored more than 2 in two of them.
He's literally the only real impact player on the team. The weight of having to carry a team that has continually offloaded what little talent they have for futures (which they had to do, don't get me wrong) is wearing on him. I don't think he's tired so much as he needs more support.
When the Wolves vs Frontenacs series are done and Frontenacs win the series (2-0), Musty will be back to play for the Sharks remaning games. Celebrini will have someone who can score to help his cause for the Calder.
He'd probably have more if he shot more rather than try high-risk/high-rewward no-look cross ice passes to guys who couldn't score into an empty net, hence my original point.I mean Macklin has 8 points in those 9, dude is doing all we can realistically expect. That's what Cam Lund is forWhen the Wolves vs Frontenacs series are done and Frontenacs win the series (2-0), Musty will be back to play for the Sharks remaning games. Celebrini will have someone who can score to help his cause for the Calder.
Musty (#27) hands look fine to see in this clip on march 30th.Musty's hurt and seemingly (badly) trying to play through it. I wouldn't count on him to ride in on a white horse and play savior for any aspect of the Sharks.

is Celebrini gonna pull an MJ and go all "that's when it became personal for me" at the awards ceremony
Trasnslation:Nah. He's going to be sitting at the dinner table in the Thornton house and pull a Patrick Roy, picking up his plate and walking past Joe while saying "I've played my last game as a San Jose Shark."
The last straw was that he asked for the salad dressing and Joe passed him balsamic vinaigrette instead of parmesan ranch.
And he passed it back, then Joe returned it.Nah. He's going to be sitting at the dinner table in the Thornton house and pull a Patrick Roy, picking up his plate and walking past Joe while saying "I've played my last game as a San Jose Shark."

This went on for 27 minutes.
At this point it’s more likely that Smith is gonna grab the mike from Hutson and yell that Celebrini had the best season ala Kanye stealing the mic from Swift and crowning Beyoncé the Queen of Pop.is Celebrini gonna pull an MJ and go all "that's when it became personal for me" at the awards ceremony
And he didn't leave FOR 23 YEARSThat's when Marleau popped over from next door, took one of the passes, and then threw the bottle right into the Sharks logo on Jumbo's son's shirt.
And he didn't leave FOR 23 YEARS
