I know we can all talk up Celebrini for hours but man, I was just thinking that the kid hasn’t really… slumped this season. Like he’s gone a couple of games without a point and some games he got shut down, but as an 18 year old to keep playing at this level up til now, dear god, he’s so good and it’s scary to think how much better he’ll get.

Also, scouts had said they think he’d have a really big defensive effect on the game (true) but maybe not-so-high point totals. After watching his beautiful pass to Toffoli and seeing his shot, I disagree. I think as he gets older and starts playing in front of a real defense, he’s going to rack up points cause he can sort of do anything.

He’s… insanely good.

as upset as I was losing out on Bedard I'm actually ecstatic that we did and got Macklin instead.
