most millennials are not tech savvy, geriatric millennials maybe but that isnt most.

Millennials are tech savvy, it's Gen Z that were corrupted by oversimplification. I was shocked to learn that some of my younger family members literally could not download a file.

The most used devices today like iPhones or tablets come ready made out of the box and are so easy to operate that there's no reason to attempt anything besides what's already laid out for you.

Also the internet today is more about socializing than exploring, the way it used to be. The wild wild west of anonymity.

To truly access the internet you used to have to be computer literate.

I've learned that a lot of these kids don't understand torrenting and other non-streaming forms of pirating.

Let’s all admit that the most capable generation is the xennial (78-83) - we got to see the world without the internet, and then we were young enough to be totally immersed in it and know the ins and outs of not only how it works but the pitfalls. When society falls apart, the xennials will have to put it back together and I think we can all agree that we’re going back to BBS’s. f*** social media.

They really aren't, the front half of millennials yes, the back half, not at all. Not as bad as gen z, gen alpha but still no.

Source, me, supporting motherf***ers since the early 90s 😂

There's a War stat in Hockey? I thought that was only a baseball thing. I'm so ignorant when it comes to these stats. That chart up thread for example, it was such a disparity between PP and Even Strength. That basically tells me Macklin needs to shoot and score more on the power play. He is very capable of that.

I don't know if there's widespread acceptance for hockey WAR because hockey valuation metrics are so much trickier than baseball (since the latter is a conclusive chain of discrete events rather than freeflowing chaos) but the concept of WAR (the value a player adds over and above the hypothetical talent level of some random, broadly available waiver castoff type of replacement player) is pretty universal so I would be surprised if there wasn't a WAR equivalent for almost any team sport that's had any amount of analysis done for it.

I DIDN’T PICK IT THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE UP GENERATIONS DID

I still hold you responsible for the arbitrary cutoff that seems to insist that I don't count in the generation that very much describes my life experience all because I was born 2 and a half months later than the point at which the calendar rolls over. You used the number, thus you are personally responsible for its use.

Crying over your exclusion from the in crowd… such an <insert generational label here, I’ve lost track> thing to do. Seems like we got you pegged exactly right, chief.
