Going 12 minutes without a shot on goal is deflating, as well.

They lost games early in this series too, even when LT was standing on his head. Caps were the worse team in every aspect of this series, not just goaltending.

Agree but he was still not up to task. You cannot let in that many back breaker weak goals in 3 games in a row. They are demoralizing to the team.

Every player in the locker room won't say it but they are all thinking how the F can he let that one in with 2 minutes left.

Oddly enough, some fans might not consider you “patriotic” enough. It has been obvious the entire time that we are not going past the second round.

Still, we have something to be proud of this season. Plenty of achievements nevertheless.

LT was the worse of the two goalies in this series. But there wasn't a single aspect of this series in which the Capitals outplayed the Canes. Canes had the better forecheck. Canes had the transition game. Canes had the better breakout. Canes had the better in-zone D converage. Canes had the better PK. Canes had the better PP. Singling out LT is ridiculous considering the entire Capitals team got caved in in all aspects of play.
