Some times it's good to be lucky, and in LT's case it was lucky to be good!Lucky save. LT is swimming in his net. He better lock in real quick.
They lack championship poise in their own end right now for sure. The inability to make a simple clear when they have absolute possession in their end, almost bit them in the ass again. Very lucky to not be down 2-1.
Love his goalie analysis. Actually Anson Carter's analysis on that Staal goal was meaningless. LT dipped his right shoulder and Staal being vet snapped it far-side top corner. LT needs to read that better, as Staal is a left-handed shot. Force to shoot far corner but take it away holding the glove up.Lundy should be a goalie coach
One of the most disappointing fixtures in this series has been losing puck battles at both ends. There’s got to be something technique or strategy-wise they’re doing. It’s like pucks are going right through us.In the intermission, Lundqvist pointed out that LT made the right decision positionally on the goal against. The team around him is the one that needs to be stepping up and winning more puck battles in the dzone.
Yeah it's pretty weird seeing this as the team was great at winning 50/50 battles during the regular season. One of the most disappointing fixtures in this series has been losing puck battles at both ends.
