Great individual effort by Calvert. Good overall team effort. Some brain dead moments by a player I will leave nameless.

Columbus Blue Jackets: When 60 minutes just isn't enough.

That was a sick goal.

See you again soon, Columbus. :)

(P.S: your team's alternate jerseys are sick.)

With the loss by Florida, the CBJ are now out of the league basement at the halfway point.

Yeah I have a feeling that we will do what we always do, win just enough to miss out on the impact player, and probably draft 6th. Mixed emotions, I like the way this team is playing, but a jones/ McKinnon is an absolute necessity this season

To be honest, one would think Hitch was coaching that game.... I never liked defensive hockey but I'll admit, it can be a winner if and only if you have great goal tending, which we are now getting.

Management is gonna have to make some moves if this team is going to have a chance at first overall. :sarcasm:

In all seriousness this is great for the players. I was really worried that these guys were going to quit after a bunch of games not getting rewarded for their hard work. If we can get a first line (and Bob keeps his play up) this team can be a playoff team.

The problem with Prout is that he doesn't have the skating ability to handle quick teams and this is being highlighted tonight. He is a big body, but not alot of high end skill.

good win tonight but agree with this. He had some turnovers last game as well. A big body that brings some toughness but not ready for prime time. He has been a third pairing guy most nights in Springfield this year.

The Johnson rumors make sense now. Save us, Jarmo! :sarcasm:

I could care less if we draft #1 right now. I am so tired of losing. With Jarmo drafting, he WILL find good players. This draft is sooooo deep there is talent everywhere. Let Johannsen develop into a #1 center. Get him some scoring wingers on either side. We don't need to draft #1 to get talent. part of changing the culture is to win. So let's celebrate winning. It would be a nice change

To think, I ripped Calvert for wanting to stay in the minors for a Memorial Cup run instead of playing for the Jacket's.... I was wrong about this kid, he has the heart to win games, big games....

I forgot about him and the Memorial Cup. What is nice to see is that this kid started the season on the 4th line, the energy line, and now is one of our better top line players. Injured last year, it is nice to see him pick up where he left off two years ago.

Uh....no. We need MacKinnon or Jones.

Great to see the boys win! Now lets trade every old dude who has any value. Vinny? RJ?? Anybody.
