His impact on the ice is just as his impact in the room. Players have gone out of their way to say how helpful Vanek has been to them and teaching them things. A calming influence for sure.

Also, maybe it's just because the team is rolling, but Vanek is a very good back checker.

Vanek is a good two way player, one is badly overrated, and one is badly underrated.

I would take vanek over nash 10/10
