In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerI asked...Hedge said he is out there, he just missed putting him on a line. But good catch...I missed it originally. Is Chinakhov hurt again or
Everyone but Dean looking to get Kunin out of the lineup.I get it’s go time and we’re slumping and he hasn’t been good but idk I think I’d keep Chinakhov in there to keep trying to figure it out. I know the coach wants lines he can rely on in both zones but you can easily make a line that way.

Would have to think when Sillinger comes back that he’s out. Unless he decides Kunin is better than ZAR or JVREveryone but Dean looking to get Kunin out of the lineup.
The more I think about Jenner and him also still trying to get back to his own standard the more I don't think I want him on that line. He's all dump and chase, Johnson is more puck control and Fantilli while evolving is still more of a rush player. Feels like having Jenner there may throw rhythm off because all Jenner wants to do is go forward and kind of eliminates rush options. Chinakhov could get a look there or just go with the most comfortable option and put JVR there. If it's JVR that allows Jenner-Chinakhov to be available for the 3rd line which could be good depth wiseI get it’s go time and we’re slumping and he hasn’t been good but idk I think I’d keep Chinakhov in there to keep trying to figure it out. His shot can be crazy accurate. Even the most accurate shooters will have times where they are not dialed in. The slow release is the bigger problem right now, when he's low in confidence he's overloading his release, which is a common problem for shooters when they're not feeling it. He might want to get a less whippy stick.
I guess anyone's shot is "crazy accurate" when it happens to be accurateHe's a career ~10% shooter so far. 14.5 last year, his best to date. That's 174 games over the span of 4 years, personally I wouldn't hold my breath he'll become a crazy accurate shooter on a regular basis - but everything with Chinakhov currently is clouded by the injury troubles, at least I don't have any idea what to realistically expect from the player going forward.
I mean Chinakhov will have stretches where he is consistently picking his spot.
His shootout shot on the ice just next to the goalie's stick is a very small target and yet he frequently nails it.
Chinakhov doesn't have a shot accuracy issue he's just got to get his timing / confidence back.
FWIW those shooting percentages are good, I'm not sure if you're suggesting otherwise.
The bigger issue of concern for me is the reason (or various reasons) he's only 320 shots into his NHL career at this point for as long as he's been around.I just thought "can be crazy accurate" was kind of funny since any decent shooter in the NHL fits that. His shooting percentages are nothing to sneeze at but compared to other good shooters in the league, they are subpar if anything. Not many can shoot the puck as hard as Yegor though and he's only 320 shots into his career, let's hope that number starts going up faster than it has so far.

I like the D pairings, actually. Though I can’t remember if the second pair was any good together.
