....ugh.....he's not even a Labanc
voronkov - fantilli - johnson
jvr - sillinger - danforth
zar - del bel - pyyhtia
olivier - kuraly - lebanc

Or some version of the above mix - which means Gambrell is likely a healthy scratch just-in-case or he's in for lebanc (or someone else is ill, etc.). I would not think that Gambrell will play.
Hard to go 7 d with Fabbro out and Z hurting some. So get the insurance of having a body here (and reward someone with a few days of NHL salary that has been working hard in the AHL).

We really need Olivier to get on another heater like at the beginning of the season.
He's gone dry, as was suspected would happen, but contributing goals in 2-1 and 3-2 wins would be greatly appreciated.

Nyquist would add not only on ice, but he’s a notoriously good “culture guy.” I think any adds for the remainder of this season at least need to seriously consider impact on the group in the room.
Seriously I think at this point you pull the trigger and see what we can get for Nyquist. Since he's not doing that great this year and a rental his costs should be suppressed but mostly he's bring brought in for "culture" reasons, he knows most of the team and though father time is starting to catch up to him he's still smart enough to keep up with the creativity of the kids.

Don't make any rash decisions just to go on a run this season. If a deal comes along sure, but don't break the bank for a temporary piece.. The upside is if they do go on a run with these guys out and we clinch a spot, getting them healthy will be like our own little late season addition.

unfortunately, I cannot see this current lineup going on a run. but then again, the team has proven me and millions wrong all year so..

That was my thought exactly.

"Well there goes the run and any chance we had at making the playoffs.... But that's what I said when Johnny's accident happened, and when Guddy and Jenner went down... Then again when Monahan went down..."

Though I do think that all those things will just be truly too much to overcome. Jenner will be a nice addition but it won't be enough. Would love to see KJ truly hit that next gear he's been flirting with all season, same with Fantilli being able to keep his current pace. But I just don't see it happening. I do think we need to make some moves, but they need to be focused on how they impact us over the next 2-5 years, not this season.

Stay the course - this year has been remarkable and a nice step forward, and there's no need to ruin the momentum.
They're still going to be competitive and fun to watch.
Still one of the teams with the best prospect pools.
Farm team is near the top too.

It's a good time to be a CBJ fan.
