Brock Nelson would be an incredible 2-year add. We could pay him well, benefit from his wisdom and last best years, and bridge the honeymoon window where we have near-infinite cap before our young guys get paid.

Would love Nelson here for sure. Just tempering the idea of “interested in” because we were the same for Pettersson but turned out we were “never really in on” him although Waddell did “make a call”.

Someone on the trade forum said Brandt Clarke for Lindstrom. I actually like it. Curious how you all would feel about it.

I haven't followed Lindstrom's development much, although when I have looked it doesn't seem like there has been much to talk about due to the injury. I'm high on Clarke though, and the Kings have a habit of trading good D.

That might work - but I'm not going to dig too deep into that thought unless we have more reason to think it's a possible trade. The idea didn't come from Kings fans and the ideas that we have seen from Kings fans are usually cynical jokes about Rob Blake's tendency to lose trades.

I assumed the guy was a Kings fan to be honest. My ears are no longer perked.

Has Hunt, Svozil or Ceulemans looked anywhere close to ready in Cleveland? The list of interesting and realistically available RHDs is pretty damn short.

I went to my first monsters game ever 3 weeks ago or so, hunt stood out to me in a really positive way. I liked his game, that night atleast.
