If you wanna call that a pro league go ahead

 The best in the world draft eligible prospect plays there to make some money. A lot of former NHLers go there to make some money. Joe Thornton, Rick Nash and a lot of other stars played in the league to make some money. So yes, that's a pro league. Also grass is green and sky is blue in case if you don't know it as well.

Better period from the US and better game for Milano. He's been buzzing.

I think they're holding back Werenski a bit in playing time. I haven't seen him much. He's been doing his job but nothing special. But like I said he's played a ton in this tournament and it's a back to back so they might be pulling him back.

CBJ ambassadors in Finland have good showings in the SM-liiga overall shots total listing. Tomi Kallio is sixth with 175 shots, Markus Nutivaara 12th with 157 and Petteri Nummelin at 183th has taken 62 shots with 34, 35 and 17 games played respectively. Veeti Vainio catching up with his more illustrious compatriots with 26 shots in 9 games.

Milano needs to shoot and play a simple game. He would be more effective without no look passes, spin moves and all that stuff.

He's playing great if you ask me. He made one fancy move and he completed the pass. He's been great along the boards and he has gone to the front of the net.

Werenski is going to be really good. He'll be valuable even if it's just for his skating and puckmoving. He's also got A LOT to learn. His defensive positioning and stickwork are not right.

Also this game is hard to watch. The Czechs have gone painfully downhill since the days of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.

It's almost like watching Denmark in the 3rd against russia. They couldn't make a pass or breakout to save their lives.

Think he overthinks a lot, makes some dumb plays trying to be too fancy. Still young.

We will just have to agree to disagree. He does a few things he shouldn't, but overall he is playing really well.

Thank god Canada is out. Tried to be big and bad because they're Canada but the Finns didn't have any of it. Bye bye.

Wonder if the us can finall beat Russia, feels like we never beat them.

Russia barely beat Denmark and the Americans put the hurt on the Czechs. I've got to imagine the USA will win.

And today Gavrikov was named the best KHL rookie of the month. In December he's played 8 games , scored 3(2+1) points and was «+7». 20-years old made 11 hits, blocked 7 shots and was averaging 17 minutes of ice-time per game. He's never had a negative plus/minus in those games.
