How are Tynan and Savard developing this year?

I have both in a keeper league that allows 25 prospects, and wanted to know if I should hold onto them

Both had rough years. Tynan had his worse college year as a junior, and will likely be back with Notre Dame next year. And Savard was definitively passed on the organizational depth chart by Prout, Erixon, Goloubef, maybe more. He didn't play well in Columbus or Springfield, but someone wrote that they've liked his game so far in the playoffs.

But I'm guessing all you care about is if these guys will be in the NHL someday and putting up points? Tynan probably won't make the NHL, and if he does he'll probably be more Gerbe than Ennis. And Savard probably has some NHL role, but is far from guaranteed. He's almost steady enough for a powerplay specialist role, and might make the NHL next year if he's traded.

Tynan is a very good player. May not live up to being 6th overall, but has a good enough 2 way game and legit skill to make it to the NHL. I think a good comparison is Calvert with better passing ability. If he can bulk up a little without it affecting his speed much I could see him easily becoming a 3rd line energy scorer within 2-3 years.

He was a 3rd rounder, and his play has regressed each year since that draft.

Told #CBJ D Ryan Murray's check-up at Cleveland Clinic late last month was "excellent," that he's "ahead of schedule."

Does anybody have any info on Daniel Zaar? Is he still planning on play Sweden next year? I'd love to see what he would do over here and get adjusted to the game over here sooner

He signed a 1 year contract extension with Rögle (who were relegated back to Allsvenskan, the 2nd tier league), and should be seeing top 2 line ice time.

It's far better for him to develop in Sweden another year. He just turned 19 and Allsvenskan is good league for him to continue to put together his offensive skills.
