I don't think Sillinger will get Kaprizov to the CBJ. That's probably a pretty big package to come up with. Maybe we can send them their 2025 1st back too...

I'd say forget Marchenko and Sillinger and ask about either Voronkov or Chinakhov, but 1) I imagine Voronkov is also quite untouchable, and 2) I'm learning that the Jackets and Wild aren't good trade partners because both want to add to the NHL roster without subtracting from it, and neither side wants futures in return.

That's pretty much the trouble with most clubs - no one is selling.

Marchenko is obviously a core piece and not available.

Sillinger is loved by the org but I think might be traded in the right deal. You'd have to be moving an actual player to Columbus to make it happen though, like Rossi.

Voronkov and Chinakhov I think stand to improve and I would like to not move them, but the club has expressed frustration with them for different reasons. Voronkov has fallen off in each of the last two seasons in the second half, he needs to fix his conditioning. And the club was frustrated with Chinakhov's slow recovery from his mysterious back issue.

Marchenko is just a non starter.

Sillinger is prob pretty untouchable. Not necessarily from the fan base, but the office and coaching staff seems to adore him. He's a dawg but I don't get it to that extent.

Well the thing we forgot is he has 286 games played and only just turned 22. It's crazy to even think that. I don't want to get rid of him, because at worst he becomes a pretty good 3C. That said, I don't think he's untouchable either.

Silly is a good piece but really Voronkov is more likely to become (florida) Bennett than Sillinger.

Which is why basically no CBJ fans want to trade him

They are going to be good. Young skill up and down the depth chart and some size/snarl sprinkled in for extra flavor.

I mean top 10 offensive scoring in 5v5
Extremely clean cap structure
Only 1 truly bad contract (the Severson isn't as bad as people make it out to be the problem is term not AAV)
More prospects coming up through the system (looks like the Luca's are both gonna be NHL regulars)
Their primary core isn't even old enough to drink and almost made the playoffs.
The core is surrounded by two of the best, if not the best, heavyweight fighters in the league.
