That would certainly explain why Kekalainen keeps refusing to draft Finns. They don't actually exist.
Here is little off-topic for off-topic but that was interesting narrative to begin with given how out of three of the Blue Jackets prior picks before third overall of 2016 were Finnish, born and bred. Hännikäinen and Nutivaara have not exactly been given an unfair chance either to progress.
It is especially puzzling when figuring out how poor the drafts of 2003-2009 were for Finns in overall which in talent assestment, given where St. Louis were picking annually, barring no trades for picks, was dry as hell. Yet the same people are now hyped for a mythical Finnish golden generation manifesting in Barkov junior and Laine. At the same time some of those people fail to register how horrible years those indeed were in Finnish player development when Kekäläinen was the main man in St. Louis.
St. Louis for example picked Jori Lehterä in the third round of 2008, the only NHLer in of the Finns in the draft.
2003, they took Juha-Matti Aaltonen (Finnish international) in the third round, in a draft where all the Finns topped their careers at Eurasian level.
Outside those there were Rask (gone before) and Rinne, Komarov, Vatanen and Mikko Koskinen (KHL star) even available.
By the time HFboards became self-aware it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms; everywhere. It was software; in cyberspace. There was no system core; it could not be shutdown. The attack begins during 8 AM to 2 PM (Pacific Time), just as he said it would. Judgment Day.
