Because he’s a solid as hell bottom pairing defenseman?!? Also a great teammate

He lives here year round. He literally had his Cup day here. He’s a fantastic teammate and by all accounts a great guy. I want that in a locker room of kids. Plus this is dead cheap with no risk. If it doesn’t work, you waive him and lose no sleep. I like this one.
