Anyone know what exactly happened to Johnson?
its not like Drazzy can't put points up...he's had a very solid points year in Springy...
Both Collins and Drazenovic have looked like deer caught in head lights up here this year.
Anyone know what exactly happened to Johnson?
As far as Joey goes, Let's just admit we don't realy know why he was sent down. Reports were that they talked to him about making some changes and he didn't. Anyone else remember that? It could be on ice things they've asked him to change or maybe it's an off ice/attitude issue. Point is we don't know.
So, do we trust the people making these decisions? I have to think it is JD and Jarmo at this point. I can't imagine they are letting the coaching staff make these personnel decisions in a vacuum.
If you trust JD and Jarmo, don't you trust what they do with Joey? I do, especially about things they have expertise in which I don't.
If I had to guess... I'm guessing attitude. Either way, I believe in JD's handling of this.
Richards does not like Johansen apparently. Great.
If Jarmo wants to see him play, this certainly helps the case of a new coach in the future. Richards is either with the program or not.
Johansen deserves to be here as much as Drazenovic or Collins. Let him play.
Do you also realize that Drazenovic outscored RyJo in the AHL?This team can't put points on the board, yet you'll put in Drazenovic before Johansen? Alright then, if you say so coach Richards.
I don't like them calling up Johansen. Why did they send him down if they were just going to call him back up? I thought the reason for sending down one of our best forwards was so he could develop his offensive game? They should have left him in the AHL a lot longer if that was the reason. I would like to know their reason for sending him down if that wasn't the reason.
He had his shoulder/arm/side smashed into the glass pretty hard twice.
Probably listed as an "upper body injury"
"Shoulder injury" per Dispatch. No other details.
I don't like that Johansen likely won't be on the ice tonight, but its okay being called up and being sent down. Players can figure out what their game needs at the NHL level, and work on it at the AHL level. They can learn a lot going back and forth.
Do you people realize that RyJo played two days in a row on both Friday and Saturday and had to travel today?

i guess sometimes it pays to be patient... Shawn Mitchell @smitchcd
#CBJ C Ryan Johansen is in lineup tonight. Told he will center Calvert and Foligno.
Or this fits with "the plan"? Gee, folks - Is it possible we as fans don't know what the plan is or can't see it?
I guess the CBJ still hasn't realized it
I think they read the board and then made decision. So Joeywill play 3rd night in a row. At least no one will complain about lack of playing time.
The Falcons also played 3rd night in a row. They lost 1:5.
How did he look?
Like he did when he left. nothing special
Actually I got the distinct feeling of regression last night.
