You probably don't want to see the 2nd interception he threw today. Very cringe worthy.

Too late!

Bengals don't have that killer instinct, for some reason, ie. taking their foot off the gas, conservative play calling. The D made some nice stops on the run and sacked Lewis several times.

Bengals were fortunate to not lose that one.

Gotta like the Bengals... a very exciting win for them in Buffalo today, 27-24 in OT..

The intersting thing was this practice squad kid by the name of Thad Lewis, the Bills 4th string QB.... three TD's on the day.. two pass one run....

That game was typical for the Bengals. If Nugent makes the field goal to put them up 27-10, it's game over. Instead they get a penalty, miss the field goal, and Operation Choke is underway for another week. Thankfully the division they are in is the NFL equivalent of the Big Ten.

You appear to be vomiting ESPN Kool Aid on me as opposed to logic...

Can't be; I don't see little Tom Brady heads in the stream.

Funny thing is that I remember all the way through the 90s, when ESPN would not shut the hell up about the B1G. They directly influenced the 1997 Heisman, seeing to it that a B1G defensive player got it at the expense of one of the greatest college QBs in history (who happened to be in the SEC).

Remember that? "The Heisman is not a career achievement award!" Then two years later, they promoted the hell out of Ron Dayne on the basis of his career...what conference did he play in?

Other than live sports, ESPN is mostly dead to me. Except PTI. I still enjoy Kornheiser and Wilbon having petty arguments. They have real chemistry and isn't totally forced like a Mark May/Lou Holtz back and forth for example.

FOX Sports 1 is decent enough for cursory coverage.

Clearly, you must be confused here. Ryan Leaf did not play in the SEC :sarcasm:

Tebow wasn't even out of elementary school in 1997...

i said a couple weeks ago i expect the BCS game to be Clemson/Oregon

but you know...since I'm an SEC guy, you guys will only read it as Alabama/LSU for the title...

also, for the OSU contingent happy that PSU won, since they played TSUN, this game just basically ruined any opp that OSU had to make the BCS game due to strength of schedule, right?

I understand this logic, and while I wouldn't have minded if UM won, I was happy they lost. That (1) game in November isn't going to determine if OSU will play for a MNC or not. It is and always has been if OSU is one of the 2 last undefeated teams left come December 8th. The OOC schedule was extremely weak (thanks to Cal for slumping and Vanderbilt for backing out) and no need to rehash how bad the B1G is.

No team in the country, over the years, has made better use of their tight ends than Iowa and OSU has never figured out how to deal with it. Then again, there is really not much about defending against a passing game that they ever have figured out!

What I find incredible is that, their defense hasn't been good all year; but they continue to find ways to win. It's a young defense and in 2-3 years, I fully expect them to be one of the best in the country. Imagine what could happen if these guys get a chance in a big bowl game and step it up.

I love Ohio State but how many weak teams can they give up 21 points to or more? They have not played a really good team yet and seem to struggle... BM is good but he won't be an NFL starter any time soon... he can't pass..

IMO.... OSU is over rated...

Strategic fumble to pick up the first down and seal the victory. I'd like to see an SEC team pull off that level of ingenuity.

If OSU would have some balls and play a SEC, ACC or even a big 12 team in the pre Big Ten schedule I could judge them....

The Big Ten is so weak Ohio State may as well be in the Mac.... what a joke..

Please, we saw a Tennessee running back avoid a TFL earlier by throwing the ball to the QB (who had gone out ahead), making it an incomplete pass instead of a loss of 3.

You'd think with all the experience the B1G has mindlessly running from the I, they'd have designed a play like that by now.:p:

Maybe Tennessee should figure out how to run the ball so that they can celebrate better play results than "RB threw incomplete pass." I'm sure they'll climb 2 spots in the polls just based on that play alone.

SEC > God

SEC > God

Things that downtrodden 4-3 Tennessee has done this season: defeated a top-15 opponent

Let me know when anyone in the B1G does the same.
