Which of these 2 scenarios would you prefer to see happen:
1. A CBA Agreement soon and everything back to "normal" (ie. entry draft for 2005,retention of RFA rights by teams,2003 unsigned must re-enter draft etc...)?
OR
2. Continued impasse drags on so that agent' go to court and get declaration that all 2005 draft eligibles, all 2003 drafted but unsigned, and all would -have-been RFA's under the old CBA,now are all declared legally free to sign with any team (once NHL allows signings again) with no retroactive NHL impingement of those players' negotiating rights to make a deal with any team?
(eg. Crosby,Thornton,Carter,Richards, etc.,can all be free to sign anywhere they choose to)?
