Prospect Info: Cayden Lindstrom

My one game huge overreaction - how could we have passed on Demidov? :tvhappy:
I'm visualising the EliteProspects video of Lindstrom NCAA highlights that is going to be released this autumn, titled "Cayden Lindstrom is well worth the wait." I can almost see it, almost...

The league could be having the exact same conversation about Lindstrom next year. Imagine if he has a massive season with MSU and then joins the team in the playoff hunt fresh off a Natty win...

The thing that sucks for Lindstrom (and Levshunov/Sennecke) is they will now be constantly compared to demidov.

I hope he’s worth the wait because it appears demidov sure will be

Man, we had to sit through the people telling us we took the wrong guy with Fantilli over Michkov and that they'll be compared forever and now this. When will it end

its good to see you guys get the same crap Blackhawks fans get over demidov also. I thought it was just us because everyone hates Chicago.

As a Habs fan, I wish nothing but the best for this kid.
Having to deal with the same injury as him, I’m definitely rooting for him as I know how difficult of a road it is to come back from that.

According to Waddell in the April 14th article, the doctor said it should be 4-6 weeks.

Medicine Hat just swept their way into the WHL finals. The four week point will be nearing the end of the WHL finals, and the five week point will be a few days before the WHL champion opens the Memorial Cup on May 23rd.

I would guess that the long timetables we've been dealing with are to make sure he's really safe to play, and if that's the case, then he should play.

I have almost no doubt if someone else was in charge of this he would be playing already. We would never know if that's the right call or not but I feel like these arbitrary timelines are by design and we should probably just not expect to see him at all

Hope he plays, will probably be good for everyone's mental state going into the summer. Was hoping the other series would take longer so Lindstrom got in more practice time but regardless, taking part as a full participant is a good sign.

As for MH, if they can casually drop these 2 into their lineup watch out. Should be a good series with no lack of scoring
