Our clutch guys don’t seem as clutch this post season Carter missing glorious shots he usually paints the net with last year. Rhino and Barkov disappear for long stretches. And you’ve got guys like Schmidt and Kulikov taking point shots instead of montour and oel.

It’s been an even series to me this game and the one Marchand scored in OT cancel each other out. It’s one player one shot who becomes the hero. Tonight it was Matthews.

Game 7 for all the marbles.

this was my fear. the leafs were humiliated and given up on by everyone. they had nothing to lose. our first period wasn't great but we defended well. we needed to capitalize in the 2nd, tho. i saw this as ending 0-2 during the 2nd intermission. felt like we missed our chance. credit to them - they did not give up the middle and we ended up making the costly mistakes. bob's going to want that one back.

this is the type of game teams learn from. they played well. their fans will be crazy and will have forgotten about game 5.

i don't think we skated well enough, were not hard enough on forecheck and we need to be much better at getting shots through the first layer.
