GDT: CATS AT CANES

When Edmonton gets first change and decides who to put McDrai up against, we'll see whether he's right or not.

My bet is Not.
This Edmonton team feels quite a bit better than they were last year. And this Florida team is not as good or healthy/fresh as last year. Gotta play the games obviously, and Dallas isn't done yet, but if I were I betting man I'd have my money on the Oilers taking the Cup in 5-6 games.

Tulsky also has to figure out the Vegas/Florida/Tampa method of blowing past a salary cap heading into the playoffs. Would Florida's depth be so impressive without Seth Jones or Marchand? Of if they had done those trades -without the pieces that would have gone back? They lost to the Canes at home without 3 players, when the Canes were already down 2 - so not being allowed to be over the salary cap would have been a major blow.

With the exception of Mark Stone it's hard to plan for a long term injury.

But see that's not why Mo did it. It's not from good intention. You have to know the man, and his motives behind some of his bullshit. He's doing it as a show of dominance, and to garner attention on himself. He knew the media would ask him about. Then proceeds to give a long philosophical speech when asked, as if he has some authority in the matter.
