We aren't blameless in how we allowed them, but this was the most blatant manipulation of a game by officials I have seen in a long time.

Have to fight through it and score when they try to make it look even and finally give us one.. gotta take your chances but wow they were desperate to bring Florida back in it with their calls.

Gotta stop the shift to bad play after we gave up those goals and get back to how we played in first with the effort and fight.. hopefully more goals on this end of the ice in the third..

One more thing..... at what point is someone in the canes org going to show brindy how nikishin shoots the puck on the power play and how he always goes for open netting and doesn't just shoot the puck into the goalies chest protector over and over like some on the PP have been doing expecting different results. .

Refs have nothing to do with this. Their PP goal was off a legit penalty by KK. We also got 3 PP’s in that period and did f*** all on them.

I honestly can’t imagine a good reason to hold onto a timeout in that situation when your season is on the line. It won’t matter if you have a timeout left if the game is 5-2 in the 3rd. I think Rod deserves some criticism with that decision.

Yep. Their total distance from the crease on their 3 goals probably requires a f***ing electron microscope to measure. It's maddening

It drives me up a wall. Rod wants them to "fight the adversity" because he'd do that but he isn't playing anymore. I really wish Rod would stop looking through that prism. Frankly it's more ammo to the fact he has to have better assistant coaching help.
