Catching up with Brian Burke

He's a beauty. God I miss him, he'll be fine and get a good job. Guy is awesome. If the oilers were smart, they would've hired him, would have been scary though but atleast he'd be the west.

Even tho they have ended their feud, I dont see Keven Lowe hiring Burke. Phily seems like a perfect fit if they choose to go in a different direction this summer.

First he comments how enforcers are needed for the team and then forgets how he waived Orr last year

Orr had a major concussion from a fight last year and Burke had to send him down to re-condition himself and try and rectify his health issues. So he didn't waive him for the purpose of releasing him.

Man listening to this interview really made me miss Burkie :( not that I don't like Nonis or anything but I just wish Burke was still apart of this team

Whether you hate him or love him you gotta love the things he says. The ugly shirt reference in this interview is an example

Wish Burke was still here. He's much more entertaining to listen to over Nonis. Having Burke as the GM was best thing to happen to this team in the last decade. Ahh well, Nonis is a Burke product so I'm sure we're still in good hands.

It's so nice to hear from Burke again. Awesome guy and great GM.

It's messed up how so many people were ripping him apart when he was here and now express their gratitude to him for what he's done here. People should have been appreciative then.

I'm sure Burke will be a GM in no time. I just hope it's out West!
