I don't think anyone would think that Bailey for Lindberg is equal value....

Lindberg in theory is a surefire 3rd liner, possible 2nd line tweener.
Bailey is a long shot 3rd liner, maybe 4th line energy type. Basically yet another Conacher or Greening or Dacosta or any of those other NCAA forwards we've grabbed - bounced around the lines for a couple years before relegating them off to Europe or Bingo for the remainder of their career.

I'd say Bailey has more upside. He's shown he's got more hunger to score. He's a bit older but at this point the value is equal I'd say until 1 player pulls away with legit NHL stats

I'm getting excited to see him get a shot with the big team. not that he's going to set anything on fire, but he could be useful.

I can't wait for 5 years from now when a small but vocal fanbase obsesses over Bailey and how he was misused and we never should have let him go to Europe and he'd be on our 2nd line right now.

Or the other vocal part that will go on and say how it was such an useless signing and a bad pick up to begin with (if we don't win a Cup until then)
