As for Lundy, at first I thought $5 million was kinda high for him but then all the other kids got paid so it isn’t a bad contract at all.

Haven’t done the maths, but pretty sure we would be good even with both Benny and Eky at 6.5M a year… Problem is, how many years do they want ?

Swaggy signing at 7M is another gift like Gus’… It’s about 1 to 2M/year under market-value !

Between the two of them, it’s basically a Rodrigues or a Luostarinen… Just think about this, it’s THAT important.

With the cap going up, we should be okay going forward, if only older… But the next batch of great Panthers is still coming IMO with Knight, Lundell already, and Samoskevich, Vilmanis, Sawchyn, St-Martin, Hovorka, Shuravin… We only need to hit on one or two of the laters, manage our assets/cap well and we stay competitive !
