It's obviously a great save but for some reason it doesn't impress me that much...

I thought it wasn't going to be that good, but I think I might need to just sit down and contemplate existence now because of that save.

I know people overreact the night of something happening, but I seriously think this is one of the maybe top 20 saves of the past 20 years. I watch hockey save videos on Youtube way too much; this is my favorite one and I think Hutton's compares favorably to a lot of them:

It seems like Hut is good for one ridiculous save per season; here's his save on the Flyers last year:

Hutton's save tonight is right up there with best I've ever seen.

You might as well stop watching hockey if you can't appreciate that one folks.

In reality, the goal-tending position is the toughest to get to the NHL in (obviously). Anyone who makes it this far even as backup is generally a whole other animal.

Even if Hutton does little else in his career (hey, Preds may make noise in playoffs and being a backup for said team is no small feat), he does have this save in his back pocket (and the Philly one). No one can take that away from him. And he did it against the right team too lol! The hockey world won't get enough of this one you can be sure!

Watching live, I was wondering why the crowd was cheering as the play continued, since I figured that the puck hit the post or something. "Why are they cheering Hutton when the posts did all of the work?" I should have trusted those with the front-row view. I had to see the replays a minute later to appreciate it.

Hutton was awful tonight but that was a ridiculous save, best/luckiest I've seen this year. We're having a bottle drive on the Leafs forum to buy him flowers for his tank contributions.

If you guys truly are, that's awesome.
And I think i want in.

As nice as that save was, the loud, porn style moaning you hear today is not in the nashville broadcast, but the collective reaction of Preds nation the the news that Marek Mazanec has been sent back to Milwaukee, meaning Pekka Rinne is ready to play
