I don't imagine the Canucks would have too difficult of a time moving him if he was willing to waive his NTC. GMs love this type of player.

Especially at the price. I'd imagine it's a 4th or 5th round pick and maybe a C prospect on the farm.

Would definitely rather be in a position where we move Soucy next year or even let him walk for nothing because Willander/D. Pettersson have simply taken his spot compared to trading him with that expectation and both kids go through understandable growing pains.

Now if someone wants to toss a 2nd for him, sure. I'd do that. Who the hell is though?

I thought him and Pettersson were our best pairing tonight (Aside from Hronek looking like a stud), I'd much much rather keep him for bottom pairing minutes and hopefully he regains his confidence, that way in the case of an injury he can step up - we saw this player last year look like a very good shut down defenseman, not going to give up on him that easily.
