Right now, defense doesn’t look like a problem and forward does. It’s been the opposite at other times this season.

I think the justification is that there’s room for internal improvement up front (i.e. Jarvis finding his second wind in the playoffs) compared to the blueline.

based on Jarvis and Necas' size, I doubt either will be a factor come the playoffs.

btw: I learned more today re: our team's injuries & contract status (thanks Ray) in one broadcast then what we get for the Bally crew.

TDA = core injury (those are tricky)
Freddie = slight knee injury
JK = 8 year contract at around $4M per
