Which is fine and good...except they were well behind the 8-ball before those 3 wins and those 3 wins didn't amount to much progress in the standings. And obviously, losing isn't helping them catch up either.

While I partially agree with Joe, some urgency to win does have to be there. This division ain't gonna be mediocre forever. How many seasons have the guys gotten off to a bad start and "just couldn't make up for it at the end". You've got to build long winning streaks to make the playoffs. That 3 game winning streak isn't going to amount to anything if we're still sitting at .500. Like we are.

That game was boring as hell, but you have to give the nucks some credit, they gave the canes no time or space all night. I kind of expected this after the sharks game.
