Hey, remember a while back when two separate hurricanes hit both our states at the same time? And Tampa's arena flooded because of it? Doesn't that build a sense of kinship and camaraderie with the fans of the Lightning? And in the spirit of that, can Tampa please let us win this game?

For real though, Tampa's on a 4-game losing streak, having scored only 5 goals in those 4 games. So what better way for them to bounce back than to play us?

Canes, I know this is asking for the moon, but don't take a lot of penalties tonight.

Lightning have been good but not spectacular this year. But I do think they are one of those teams that we don't always match up well with, even when they are a little down. It'd be nice to get this one after they took the close opening night game.
definitely true but I believe last time we went to Amelie Arena we won like 4-0 with a Koochie shutout. I was at that game. Unless we played there since then but I don't think we have,.

Lightning will be hungry for a win at home. They've been pretty bad lately. Would be entirely within reason for this to be a hard fought loss. That's not even being a doomer. It's just the facts of how games go this time of year, and should have no bearing on where this team is as a whole.

That being said, they better win or I'll freak the f*** out.
