I like it. Reasonable term and AAV for a solid middle six, if not top six contributor.

That makes this the second year in a row that we've gotten a UFA with some name recognition to move here. The times, they are a-changin'. Hopefully we don't crap on his heart next year.

Wonder if this means anything about Williams' chances of playing another year.

Roughly 100% of Dzingle's offense comes off the rush or attacking the crease. For a smaller guy he is always at the net.

Very nice. Gotta wonder what this means about Williams though. McGinn is probably gone too.
Still around 7.75M in cap space left if Gibbons is in the AHL (which I expect). Only signings left to make are Fleury, Forsling, Saku, and McGinn. Should be less than 5M total spent on those 4, and Williams can take a 1 year performance bonus heavy deal which pushes those bonuses on to next years cap... which basically fills some of the Marleau buyout that comes off the books.

Canes are spenders this year and making serious moves to roll an extremely deep forward group... what a time to be alive.

Awesome. Should be 40ish points in the bank. Another lefty though- I know they cant just sit around waiting on williams to make a decision but I definitely want him back if for no other reason than to have a righty in case necas isn't quite ready.

EDIT Heck even if he isn't the forwards are getting crowded... off the top of my head

Nino-Aho-TT
Dzingel-Haula-Svechnikov
Williams(?)-Staal-Foegele
Necas-Martinook-McGinn(?)

EDIT again and I totally forgot Wallmark
We will either have Necas in Top 6 or in Charlotte. No reason to waste his talent on the fourth line getting 0 minutes. No chance that happens.

Does this mean we can stop hand wringing over whether Dundon is willing to spend to compete?
