I wouldn't even mind if it's both teams coming off a buy week and playing that next Thursday. But otherwise no, just no, 4 days is not sufficient turnaround time.

I do like having Thursday night games. I really don't like being locked into Sunday (or the one game Monday, which I like for the same reason) for watching football. But it really does seem like it'd be possible to schedule them so that the teams playing are coming off of their bye weeks without too much trouble. 16 games, 32 teams, each team gets a bye week, each team gets a TNF game. I guess you run into the thing where they don't take bye weeks the first and last week or two of the season, but that seems solvable.

At least they took away the thing where you play a Sunday night game and then go play a Thursday game on the road. That was ridiculous.

I don't mind Thursday games but it was better when they were only 4-5 weeks out of the season instead of every single week.
