Unfortunately the end of the quarter killed the momentum. All points all good but they need TDs today.

hopefully JT Sanders is ok, he's an extremely promising player and I think he could be an elite top 5 TE in the league eventually.

a great game from Bryce and Canales against the best team in the league, regardless of what the outcome winds up being.

ehh I'm cool with this outcome. D needs a full rebuild and infusion of talent but still had some moments and getting Wonnum healthy has been huge for the pass rush. Canales ran the O beautifully against an elite defense, Bryce played the best game of his career. We were never going to make the playoffs this year, get the higher draft pick and moral victories and progression from Canales. Last year we'd have lost this game by 40, not 3.

Don't mind that at all. The defense is crap, but the offense, including Young, is finally developing and was able to manage the game against the f*ing Chiefs and make big plays in big moments.

This year was a write off. I know some fans have been drawing up paths to the playoffs, but I'm not expecting that at all. Get some of this roster actually playing well, and then you can focus on more focused needs in the draft rather than needing new talent literally everywhere.

Regarding the team

The OL is legit. And with Bryce now looking comfortable behind center, things are starting to come together well. Hubbard is a very underrated back, and there is definitely something to work with to build around.

Defensively, it's a mess. They're a mix of good and terrible all at the same time. They could afford to take a page out of the Eagles playbook and just make moves to load up defensively in the draft the next year or two and they very well could be a contender 3 years from now.

That was a good game. If young Mister Young gets some confidence, maybe these fellas can go somewhere after all.
