We're still arguing about 2nd and 3rd line labels? I don't know if Muller has referred to Jordan's as 2 and Nash's at 3 all season. Let's just name them after colors.

Keep in mind that Skinner is also getting some pretty easy competition while playing on the purple line. Moving him up with Eric might be a good idea in theory, but he also might not find the same room. If he's producing at a PPG (probably unsustainable) where he's at, why move him?

Also Harding is starting tonight. I saw that somewhere.

re.

Totally agree. There's at least one guy on each line scoring at a decent pace (Staal, Gerbe, Skinner). I see no reason to change anything at the moment.

I would love it, however, if Dvorak stayed with Skinner. They seem to mesh quite well.

Why don't we just skip over the 2nd line. JStaal is on the 3rd line 'where he belongs', Skinner is on the 4th, and Bowman/Sutter/Westgarth is now the 5th line.

It would be good psychological warfare. Other teams will say "WTF? Carolina has 5 lines?!?!" And when the 5th line scores we can laugh at the fans of the other team. "Haha! Our 5th line scored against you guys!"

I'd have to argue that Westgarth can't handle a 5th line role and should really be demoted to the 6th line.

With the deft scoring touch shown recently, Muller needs to seriously consider moving Hainsey from defense to the fifth line.

Faulk will have about 150 friends and family in attendance. Should be pretty fun to see them, most will be wearing Hurricanes gear!

Channel not coming in for me again (surprise). Reset the box several times to no avail. Guess I'll keep trying.
